I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in therapy for adolescents, adults, and their families. I am passionate about helping, and I want to do that in the most effective way possible. In addition to individual therapy, I offer family therapy and parent consultations.
If you or your adolescent is struggling with anxiety or depression or not doing well at work, at school, or at home, I want to help. I work with teens and their families, as well as with adults to determine a personalized action plan with the goal of moving you or your child toward health and well-being. I believe things can get better!
After 30+ years of working with children, adolescents, and adults personally and professionally, I went back to graduate school with the goal of learning more about how to help individuals and families who are addressing challenging issues. As a mom of seven, by birth and by adoption, I have had my days of feeling over-whelmed and stressed about what to do next to best meet my children’s needs and help them move toward health and responsibility. I care about helping people who are struggling. Being a therapist is my dream job!
My work experience includes an intensive day-treatment center for children and adolescents, an inpatient psychiatric setting for adults, and work in a private practice setting. In 2015, I opened my own practice, and I am excited about serving clients and the community in the Keller area! Although I am influenced by my Christian worldview, I serve all faiths and beliefs and seek to provide respectful, quality service to all my clients.
And when I’m not working? I love to read….my Amazon cart always has books in it. My favorite people in the world are in my family, including four beautiful granddaughters. I love music, art, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
